Bergzight Cottage is a large two-roomed cottage, one of the original farm dwellings of Zandrivier. A wide stoep is ideal for early morning coffee or late afternoon sundowners while taking in the sweeping views for which the cottage is named.

This cottage sleeps up to four adults comfortably with two bedrooms, a shared living space, and bathroom with shower: it contains all that is required for a comfortable weekend. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, small oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery. Electricity is provided and there is 3G and cellphone reception. There is a braai area outside and a large fireplace inside. Guests are welcome to swim in the farm dams and explore the fields, woods and veld. Wood and freshly baked farm bread are available on request.

The farm offers a variety of activities or guests can simply relax and enjoy the great views. Zandrivier is located about 1200 m above sea level and enjoys snowfall during most winters. Guests can explore the walking trails on the farm, interact with our animals, cycle, horse-ride or go birding
